Mystery gun

Can anyone identify this pistol?

I copied it of the internet awhile ago. (I usually rename pics for reference sake, but I have no idea how I missed this one) The file name was "DSCN 0044", which is of no help, as it that is just an automated file name assigned from a digital camera. (Nikon, I believe). I changed it to "mystery gun" before uploading. If anyone can id this gun, I'd appreciate it.

Okay, it looks to me like a compact Springfield clone of sorts, which would be prohibited here in Canada anyways. The safety has been removed and grips changed out perhaps? The trigger guard is fugly. What is it? Good question.

With the one grip screw it looks very 2011ish, but also very cheap looking.

Actually that's not a grip screw, the grip is moulded polymer. If it's half as good as the original detonics, i'd be interested. I see they make both the striker fired model (shown) and a regular single action model with a thumb saftey. They seem a bit pricey .....
