Mystery Ruger 10/22 Acsessory...

K, on the lower gun in that picture, there is an accessory added onto the front part of the stock to increase the girth of the fore-grip and make it look cooler. Just wondering what that would be called and where I can buy one in Canada.

looks like it sits on rails to make a handguard when an accessory isn't being used,the AR guys will know what it's called

They are just rail covers.

Looks like someone took 3 lengths of rail and just screwed them onto the stock.

That is coorect. Someone just screwed some RIS rails (probably airsoft....check ebay) and put some rail covers (again...ebay)

Fugly in my opinion, but each to his own I guess.

the top one seems to have a scope with an integral rail.
Can you tell us where you've got the pictures from?

Pretty sure the the pic is from Rimfire Central (if not here). Having trouble locating the thread tho... it will be in the ruger 10/22 section.
