Hi, I have an old 28inch SXS shotgun that has 2 1/2 chambers, and the only markings I can find on it are on the top in between the two barrels. The words "London Laminated Steel" are printed on it, I am missing the triggers and buttstock I can post pics later if needed. The serial number is 84702 and on the underside in between the two barrels A4P is printed

To be able to have any comment we need to see the proof marks on the barrel flats, and any other markings anywhere on the gun. Pictures, not words.

Just taking a quick stab but looks to be Birmingham proofed, post 1904. This was most likely a low end, nameless hardware store type gun. Even complete, without the rust and with the stock and triggers, it wouldn't be worth very much.

Your chances of finding a stock, and triggers, that will just fit as is are slim to none. Most stocks require hand fitting, especially on guns that were pretty much hand made to start with. A stock could be made but would not be worth the cost. Unless you can find a stock for cheap off of an old gun that will some what fit, I advise you to think long and hard before sinking any money into it. By exterior appearance, even your barrels require attention. If the bores are also pitted internally then you have nothing but 2 tubes of steel. I would almost bet the barrels are also off face. There are many old complete guns out there for cheap if you want a project.

Some good advice here. To the OP and don't take this the wrong way but I have welded up better for yard displays
Not something I would spend any time or money on
Cheers

Alright thanks for all the help, the barrels are off face but I was going to try fixing it as a project, I figured it would have little value if anyone knows where to get the triggers and hammers for it I'd probably still fix it since I got it for free, if nobody knows then i'll just leave it.

It's perfect for learning on, in my opinion. Nothing like a frustrating relic to get past the fear of doing something wrong. Because you're going to do something wrong.

Very true if you had something to work with. But in this case it's kind of pointless to spend any money trying to get the necessary missing parts just so there is something to work on. Might be different if parts were found for nothing or next to nothing.
