N.S Bear Regulation question

Trying to figure out if I can hunt bear tomorrow with a riffle.

I just got my bow stamp for Deer and I never hunted bear before so I figured it was bow only as well but the book doesn't mention bow it just says bear season starts sept 9th

Im confused can someone clarify that up for me...

Yep, you can use the rifle. With bow season for deer and bear rifle season opening right on top of each other I don't know what to take.

I have a monster of a bear hitting my bait site so I think I would feel better with the rifle and try for deer with the bow later.
