G'day helpful peoples I have what will probably seem like a ridiculously easy question but here goes :)

In the land Down Under pump action shotguns are heavily restricted and most people can't have them however a mate has the appropriate license and wants to tacticool his 870.

I looked around and from what I have found to be able to put an AR15 stock on one he will need an adaptor plus an appropriate stock. Now I have found a Stag Arms 6 position adjustable stock kit that is pinned (before you all ask WTF for I have to say telescoping stocks are forbidden for everyone except LEOs and the military who both just get what they are issued, no provision for personal purchases) and a Mesa Tactical low tube or high tube adaptor.

The stock kit includes:
Fixed Stock
Buffer Spring
Carbine Buffer
Castle Nut
End Plate

My only concern is do I need anything else or are these even the correct parts he needs? Tacticooling shotguns went the way of the Dodo down here along with semi auto rifles and other goodies after the 1996 Port Arthur massacre which ushered in heavy restrictions on firearms.

All help appreciated :)

won't need the buffer spring or the carbine buffer.
Will probably need a AR stock tool to properly stake the castle nut to prevent it from turning loose.

other than that it looks like he will be good.

Thanks very much. After a bit of looking around I had discovered a $5 wrench was a wise investment :D

sorry i meant tighten the nut, not stake. Either way, a stock wrench is a good idea.

it can be a pain to tighten those things without it.
