What does one do when they can't find the proper reloading data for a combination of powder and bullet? In my case a 9mm x 19...
I have a 124 gr. round nose lead bullet and some titegroup powder. Neither the Lee nor the Speer manuals have the loads for this combination.
I see a 115 gr. round nose lead with titegroup load on the hodgdon site. 3.9 grains min to 4.3 max.
I reckon the heavier 124 gr. bullet will cause more pressure than the 115 so should I load less than the minimum (10%?) for the 115 and check for signs of overpressure? Or should I go and buy one of the listed powders for the bullets I have?
I haven't loaded anything yet so I still have all of my fingers.
Thanks for advice.
