Anyone have experience loading the 140 grain bullets with this powder? If so what are you getting for velocity. I have read online I should expect around 2650. Is this true or am I able to squeeze more?

You should use MAGNUM primers with that powder.

I used a non cannister grade of N160 for everything from the 6.5x55 up to the 338-06.

It's a fairly slow powder that can give very consistent results when loaded close to maximum pressures.

It's also in its element with heavy for length bullets, such as the 140 grn 6.5 in the X55 cartridge.

My accuracy load was 44.0 grains over CCI 250 magnum primers, seated out as far as the magazine would allow. Appx 2500fps

It's just slightly faster than 4350 but not as fas as W760.

This load was safe in my M38 Swede Mauser. Might be to hot or light for your rifle, depending on the make/model
