Made in Scarborough ON in the 60's address was Birchmount Dr. They made the guns from scratch including the barrels. I have a catalog from 61 it shows their line of guns and sporting equipment, gun cases, scopes, cleaning equipment ammo, etc. They also imported gun from Sako, Valmet and Lama.
Funny that no one here seems to know much about the company, I would have thought maybe some old employees would still be around.

PS I have 2 of the Grizzly 22's A model 10 and 30 but would like a model 20 repeater

I've had 3 of them .All shot great. They are well made and shoot as well as what's available today in the standard market.
I currently have a Model 10 I modified for my 9 year old daughter.
Because I like to tinker.
I reshaped the pistol grip(smaller),shortened the stock (2 3/4' at butt and 2 1/2" off forend and tapered from mounting screw to tip of forend 1/2") and shortened the barrel and recrowned. Added a 4 powers Simmons scope and she's smashin crackers at 50-75 yards at will. Little rifle shot a 5 shot group around the 1/2" mark with Blazers at 50 yards.
Rifle-$50
Scope-$40
Labour-time well spent
This is her first rifle so I wanted it to be something noone else has.
She loves it and that makes me happy !!

I *think* I have a 20 (there's basically no markings on it, but it is a NAACO repeater), which I might be persuaded to sell.

They're FAR finer guns than Cooey's, I'll say. The mackining is better, the action seems more solid, and the stock (on mine anyway) has some beautiful figuring to it.

What to pay.
I bought the #10 I currently have for $50 (needed extracters ($15).Otherwise the gun was in descent shape. I see them at local (Toronto,Ontario area) gun shows from time to time for $60- $130 for Model 10 and 20 . I don't remember ever seeing a Model 30 before. Parts for these seem to be available if you are patient and know a few people.

I’ve seen photos of the NAACO catalog showing their mallard shotguns in various gauges. I’ve watched the auctions for some time now, and all seem to be 12 gauge. I suspect NAACO over extended themself’s, and didn’t survive long enough to retool for the less common gauges. We are left with 12 gauge only, unfortunately.

wjklassen - come in, please. I sent a couple of rimfires. He had quite a collection, I understand he intended to donate them to a museum.

I own a 30-06 NAACO Model 90D. Like the dumba$$ I am, I also had a .308 short action, had being the key word

Good find...

Arguably the best things to come from the G.T.A...Accurate and, well made .22's. For all the "cooey love" on the 'net, I'm surprised there's not more NACCO fury....grooved for scopes too!
Well, very short lived compared to Cooey; not enough built/sold to become popular. A friend has one, it looks like new; single shot, diopter target sights, terrible, non adjustable trigger. It is no match winner on paper either. Being Canadian, they are interesting. Had a bunch of Cooeys, still have a 78; better triggers.
