Saw one of these revolvers for sale a little while ago. Definitely an interesting piece. Does anyone have one of these and can ammo be imported fro the states or Europe?

I do have one, and recently bought some cartridges from Teapot2. I don't exactly remember, but I think the gun came from TradeExCanada at a pretty reasonable price. Teapot2 was very good about notifying me when he was able to track down a consignment of cartridges. Otherwise they're a little hard to find. You can make them, but it's a chore. Interestingly, in the US you can buy a .32ACP cylinder for the gun -- a lot cheaper to shoot.

They are fugly cool, and I like 'em. I have two, one which is tight and a good shooter, the other which is loose and has some geriatric-type health issues. If you like a 25lb trigger pull, the Nagant is the revolver for you!

I've done some tuning (filing ) on the main spring (on a spare one just in case ) according to the russian manual for Nagant target shooting...smoth and very light pull
