Nagant M38 or M44?

I got my last 2 M38s from P&S. Laminate M44 stocks, electro-penciled forced matches and counter bored but very nice clean rifles. Buddy odered a M44 at the same time and is really happy with it. Jean was very helpful.

I really could have done without the modern stamped import marks but as mentioned above, the M38 has been a tad scarce lately.
