Nagant magazine keeps popping open!

Hey all, Rickyy101 here again

When I load my Nagant with 5 rounds the TINIEST bit of pressure will cause the magazine to fly open and the rounds to come out. Anyone else have this problem? What can I do?

Likely the little catch that holds things shut has been burred at some time. You can dress it flat again with a small file.

Princess Auto has a nice set of needle files for about $10 and they ARE hard enough to do the job.

I agree look at the catch its prob rounded from wear and tear. file it flat again.
