That rifle with the magazine, up and left of the tommy gun in the lower right corner, between the revolver and the browning auto-5. Can anyone tell me what it is?

The large cap magazine on the 1911 is the first picture I have seen of this...."John Dillinger, the infamous bank robber in the 1930's, had a full-auto Colt M1911 in .38 Super he'd modified himself. "....very interesting and inventive fellow... AP

Depending on the calibre, it's either a Winchester 1905, 1907, or 1910 (also known as the "Winchester Self-Loading Rifle").

I have a .401SL in my stable too! Ooooo so Dillinger used one too... Interesting.......

It would be an excellent deer hunting round here in the brush & bush country.

I thought Brillinger was also known to have used a Rem M-8 or was that the sheriff that shot him full of sh--holes!?

Frank Hamer of the Texas rangers shot up Bonnie and Clyde with a Remington model 8. The rifle pictured is a Winchester model 1907 "Police Rifle" it was noted for having a 10 shot mag in .351 SL cal and a bayonet lug. Old Dillinger probably got this off of a downed officer or G man.

cool pic cheers Darryl
