I agree that the 219 wasp is close. But the case seems too long in comparison to the shoulder on the 30-30.
Neck starts on the 30-30 is at 1.550. Where as the overall for the Wasp is 1.750.
Dug through my old books. There wasn't alot of 22 Cal's based on the 30-30. The 219 Zipper is longer yet at 1.875 but has a 12° shoulder vs the Wasps 30°.
The 225 Winchester, 218 Bee, .222 Remington Rim, .22 Remington Jet Magnum and the .22 high power. All have a smaller case diameter or way longer and have different tapers all together.
.22 Fawn is alot shorter at 1.300"
I'm thinking that it is a 219 Wasp. That obviously has been formed from 30-30 and needs to be fireformed.
Some one used a piss poor set of dies to try and form it, Just my thought's as I have made 257 from 270- 30-06 brass and they looked cleaner than and not even fire formed as yet.
