I recently picked up the Powerfist 22" impact case from Princess Auto when they were on sale for $69 (obligitory nice). They are about the same size as the Nanuk 935. I am wondering if any one has tried fitting the 935 6 Up foam in the case.
the foam will cost you almost 4 times what you paid for the case.I recently picked up the Powerfist 22" impact case from Princess Auto when they were on sale for $69 (obligitory nice). yup pretty close got my inside and outside all discombobulated. lol. you could probably make the foam work. I was able to snag a 935 6 up on the equipment exchange for what the foam costs. Nice case but stupidly overpriced IMHO.The PA websit lists the case dimensions as 20-1/4L x 11-1/4W x 8-3/4H in.
Nanuk lists the 935 interior dimensions as 20.5" x 11.3" x 7.5"
So pretty close in most regards.
Yes, the foam is stupid pricey.
Its a really nice case. Fits 6 with combo trigger locks, which is what I really wanted. Haven't used the removable part yet, as I really haven't had to take more than 6 to the range at any one time. I just like that it holds the pistols well and no handling dings etc. We spend a lot on the guns, so the investment in cases is worthwhile. How do you like the 6up? Do you use the central "removeable" part for storage or more pistols?
I have been searching for the 6up for a decent deal for a while now. When I saw the Powerfist for $69 I figured I would get it and maybe try and source the foam.
