Over 30 years ago I started using Burchwood Casey gun stock wax for blued steel rifle parts. Found it to work great on those soggy trips where it rains every day and nothing seems to dry out in camp. While others are oiling every day I mostly just hung my gun up. But it's been hard to find most of the time so I switched to good car wax. But there seems to be a trend to scented wax! ? What for? Couldn't find any nosented so this year I'm gu-na try the one step silicone based stuff. Armar**** makes some. What-ya been using for them old fashioned non stainless guns?

I really wish we could use AR'S for field use. One of the most corrosion resistant guns ever made not to mention the other benifits.

I too wish the ARs were not restricted, but not really sure what other benifits they offer over other 223s.
