Nato rounds in match grade 308?

Id love to feed some cheap shells into the new toy to get myself used to the thing before I try to get it dialed in properly. I am wondering if 7.62 Nato would do any damages to a match grade .308 chamber & throat?

As long as it is actual M80 ball then it’s fine. Stay away from Chinese ammo and other bi-metal projectiles.
