I have a Navy arms / Pedersoli rolling block action that I bought without a barrel, I am wanting to rebarrel it to a 50-90 sharps and am trying to find a diagram on the tenon and thread measurements and extractor cuts. I found one on the the internet that was clearly wrong or perhaps a different model, using square threads at 10 tpi and a diameter of 1.130. Initial measurement look to be about an 1" in diameter and 14tpi V threads. I have contacted Pedersoli, but have received no answer as of yet, I would really like to proceed with this project. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The square thread tenon you have a photo of is for an original Rem RB.
I would suspect your Pedersoli action had a metric thread and a couple ways I would go to find out, first is a trip to a local high quality machine shop and ask the old guy over in the corner by himself to identify what you have , he will have to be very very versed in threading and probably has a machine available to him that cuts accurate metric.
Myownself, I would liberally coat the internal threads with a release agent of some kind and then smear a gob of epoxy tightly into the threads and let harden. After hardening thoroughly, it should easily pry out and you now have a perfect measurable thread rendition for yourself to measure. Your first indication if it is a metric thread is that the thread angles will be 55 deg instead of 60

If the action were in my hands, I'd use my thread gauge to measure the pitch. Fingers284 suggestion to make a cast would work. If I got an Imperial number, I'd turn up a piece of scrap and check for fit. That would accurately answer any questions about diameter.
I remember Navy Arms selling these actions; no mention was made of metric threads - which would not have helped sales in the least.

Thanks for the reply, I've already determined that it is 14tpi with a thread pitch gauge. I was hoping to find an official dimension for the tenon, the casting would be help, so ill probably do that.

Its definitely 60 degree 14 tpi as I already measured that, I like the idea of casting to get the diameter more accurately. I would really like to find official tenon length exc. Thanks for the idea. I have a full machine shop to cut the threads and the ability as well
