good post sir, trying to unite a magazine with its pistol is an honourable thing, is the serial # on an aluminum base 0r a wood base with the crown M acceptance also

wood base with a crown M - that's why I'm saying it's for a navy model. Has been in my father in law's stash since the 80s or so and he never had a p08 so it came to him on its own.
