NC Star New Arrivals

I have an m14 and need to get a scope on it. Are nc star scopes capable of withstanding the recoil from this rifle? What one would you recomend?

First off, no problem with the recoil issue....

I got "swindled" into that deal from Vinzer. I ordered the MAR4S and a couple of other M4 goodies thinking it was an awesome deal. I checked the tracking number and they were stopped at customs?! The only reason we get those prices are because they are shipped from California to us. This disturbed me as I purposely ordered from a Canadian company to avoid this situation. I called Vinzer and he asked me if I read the shipping disclosure. OK, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. This won't ever happen again. The deal is some products are in stock and other products are shipped to you from the US! Now instead of having the "shipping disclosure" I think the dealer should show more integrity displaying something at checkout that lets you know, hey you are not paying taxes and could/will be charged duty/taxes by the delivery guy! I honestly wouldn't have ordered if this was presented clearly to me. By the way I am still waiting for my parts as they haven't been released by customs. I ordered my stuff at 7am on July 30th from what I thought was going to be a Quebec to Ontario delivery!

OK my venting is complete!

A bunch of other places sell these for $55, your research is at fault here..

BTW, I read the disclosure from Vinzer, I think one can't miss it, he is not hiding anything, I think that in this case you are wrongly accusing him.

On another note, I sold a bipod for SKS to a guy for $25 and shipped it to him same day, he had it 3 days later, then he complained that Vinzer had the same one for $17, I even gave him $5 refund in the mail. I guess he would still waiting, pay customs fees and whatever, ended up paying a higher and, ... still waiting.

I guess it always goes both ways.
 
x2 on the swindly company - there are MANY shady dealers in the firearms world from what I have come to see, it's really sad and makes me want to spend my money where the service is good and not where the prices are best

It was in response to the OP regarding why Marstar's might be more expensive. But sorry regardless. Glad you are sharper than me at reading the shipping disclosure. It won't happen again.
 
Yes there are a few "swindlers" out there, but there are a lot of reputable dealers that I have purchased from as well.
Please do not start any nasty discussions, it was just a question to John as he is an extremely large dealer with volume purchasing power. It may just be the case that these other guys are low-balling to move product. I trust John will give us feedback on the issue.

ALL NC Star products shown as "in stock" on our site are just that, in stock here in Ontario for immediate delivery.

ALL warranty on NC Star products is handled in Canada by Marstar, we DO NOT pass you off to a third party. You buy from Marstar, you are serviced at Marstar.

As you have found out,the hard way, there are other so called dealers out there that are nothing more than order takers for the producers.... I beleive the term is drop shipping.... Some have already come and gone since earlier this year.... We have been around since 1984.

I am sorry this happened to you It does not speak well of the producer I'm afraid.

So with the hidden shipping included, what is the price difference? Come on cbabes, you dropped the vent bomb. It was out of turn, but now I'm curious.
 
Also Cbabes, why have you not had your CC do a charge back when you discovered what you thought to be dirty pool?

Thanks for the post John!

It seemed a little weird that these guys are undercutting you. Thanks for clearing it up. It sheds light on why one should purchase from a reputable dealer and the pitfall for seeking the cheapest deal.
