Hey Mike,

I have purchased a number of NC Star scopes, red dots, and lasers and they are a really good deal for the money. That being said I also have a Bushnell Elite 6500 on my favourite rifle and there is a difference. With scopes, In my experience I think you really get what you pay for, but until you can invest in a quality optic, NC Star is a really good quick fix.

What I think the fella from Cowtown is saying, is what I have been warned about many times. Stay away. I mean, your Lee is pretty powerful, no? (kick etc).

Go look at my thread in the optics section (I asked about high end/low end red dots). I was looking into buying an NC star, and EVERYONE said stay the hell away.

Why not buy a used Bushnell 3200 elite? I sold mine with box, and bikini covers for $150 shipped on here. I have seen them for $125 shipped before, in mint shape.

I always buy used quality, versus cheap-o new :)

They are very cheap, very inconsistent and for the most part junk but everyonce in a while someone gets one where the glue actually holds and the lenses are lined up and it works well. You really are much better off buying a used Tasco made in Japan or some other good quality used scope. Leupold for $200 is the best buy
