NCRRA and Connaught season?

Can anyone tell me when NCRRA shooting season starts up at Connaught? The website mentions that several of the shooting clubs shoot year round, but when I've tried to stop in to take a look there's no one there - and I get odd looks from the guys at Range Control when I ask if they know anything about the shooting clubs.



I've only just joined the NCRRA a few weeks ago, but as a new shooter I'm interested in learning about what the NCRRA has to offer... but I've really only managed to find people at the shotgun club so far. Not that I've not been having a blast shooting skeet, of course!

Still, I'd like to be able to take out my rifle at some point... So does anyone know when people in the various clubs start meeting for the new season?

The shotgun section can't put you in contact with the rifle shooters? Target rifle shooters are usually wimps when it comes to shooting in the snow (I know because I am one of them) It is easier to wipe sweat off your rifle stock than it is snot. I would think things will start to happen for rifle shooting in late April or early May.

No one that I spoke to really had much information. Just that you could usually hear 'em when they were out shooting.

I was hoping to go out and at least meet people to learn about the different groups that shoot there. Heck, I don't even know what kind of rifles are allowed to be used - or pistols.

I suppose I could have waited to learn all this before, you know, I joined up...
