Folks,

A group of F/TR shooters are looking for another F team, be it made up of Open, restricted, farky, or mixed shooters, to shoot against at the NCRRA Victoria Day matches next month in Ottawa. This may end up being very informal, but we'd love to hear if there are any other F shooters out there who are planning on being there for the matches and would like to take us on.

Has anyone been able to pull up the application form? a couple of attempts on different computers has told me that the version on the site (Old) is not compatable with the MSoffice I am running (newer)

Same problem...cannot open doc.Sent email to Serge B to confirm attendance and see if barrack accomodations available.
MP..was chatting with Terry P at Mons practice yesterday.I mentioned you coming and your challenge.Found out he is 1 of your " 4 Horseman" Team.
Will see what we can put together on Friday at Connaught.
Hoping for a good turnout.Longrange forcast is below seasonal cool temps but dry.I'm sure that will change a number of times before then.
Hope to see you there.
Gord

For Trevor, Gord, and anyone else interested...

yup- I guess our cover is blown. The short story is 4 of the 7 members ofr the FTR team to the FCWC's will be at the matches, and we're looking to shoot a team match to help get strategy and so on set.

Wolf,
I'm sure we would be able to scrounge up some almost sober barely medicated near blind old fart shooters and patch together a team, but we're going to ask for a points handicap if we have to compete with you fellows.
Hope to meet you there.
Gord

Asking for a points handicap? Not a chance of that happening. I've shot against near blind, medicated, questionably sober shooters before. Had to eat a lot of crow.

Sat morning 300m completed, and only half of 500m class shot range officer closed range due to lighting and rain, to resume Sun morning, cold weather expected and no rain ?
man did I get soaked
manitou

Apparently some of the 500 meter targets were not the proper targets, so the 1st relay enjoyed a 12 round practice in the rain. Having said that, I noticed that the statitician kept the relay #1 500 meter scorecards. Things that make you go hmmmmm.

Congratulations to Leo D'Amour! The best F class shooter of the weekend. It certainly pays to have the experience that he has. Can't remember who was second, third, or fourth...hehehe.

no one ever does.Leo sure deserves the win to pull out a score like that on the new and improved (teeny) V bulls and undrt the most interesting of range conditions,
I happened to get ahold of team match scores final sheet. Now if I can only remember where I put it................ Meds fog
Nice to meet some new faces and see some old ones too. Thanks again for the early morning Timmy's ,Terry.
Wouldn't have made it past noon without them.
Healing time.Hope to make Saturday at TCRC Prone Precision...even if just a spectator.
Wolf, nice meeting you too.Hope your trip home went well.See ya'll again soon.
Gord

Funny, folks keep asking how I did, and my only answer seems to be that I learned what I has hoping to learn, and met some great folks. I was lucky enough to get squadded w/ Leo for 2 days. I hope I've managed to absorb some of what he generously tried to pound into my head. Humbling is a word that keeps coming to mind. Gord and Terry-It was great to put faces with names. Gord, I thought I saw you eat those team final scores. Something about not wanting to show anybody?:p

Matt, see, I said I wanted points before the match!!!Congrats on your fine win!!!Did Trevor get to buy the round?
Sorry I couldn't make the dinner as I retired to the barracks to hide my shame:)

For those unfamiliar ,the F Class group were shooting on somewhat different targets than the traditional TR 5V competitors.
The new and improved humbler is a 1/2 minute V bull for F'ers and in my case was
able to move at will all over and around the target.:)
Score aggs have now been lowered and tie shootoffs reduced accordingly.
A good move IMHO for F'ers and as well being squadded together was also a benefit.

Now I know the Canadian F ing Tean will REPRESENT when they hit the mounds at Bisley, but I'm hoping that they can also REPRESENT when they hit the pubs afterwards,
Practice....................................
Have you fellows oicked out a Team Logo and Mascot yet?Perhaps someone off of CGN could help you out???
