Does anyone have any reviews or experience with this red dot sight? I am interested in one and have found some for a good price on eBay.com. They are in the states however and I have been told it would be illegal to export these from he states is this also true? Any opinions or information would be appreciated.

Garbage. They sell them here already, and like all NCStar products, they are big steaming piles of nasty dog doo-doo.

Stab your eye with a fork instead... it's cheaper, faster, and eventually you'd experience the same pain if you bought NCStarbage.

Your mileage may vary...

you can buy it on eBay directly from china since that's where they're made and sidestep the whole ITAR issue. or from marstar.

i've never used those, but am tempted by that type of sight. i'd probably try a super-cheap one to figure out if i like it conecptually, and then buy a GOOD one if i think it's worthwhile (like the Burris)

I've owned the Burris fastfire, as well as the J-point, and they are both very rugged and well made. Not EOTech rugged, but good enough for most uses. NCStar isn't even in the same universe. I wouldn't trust it on an airsoft rifle.

Save your money on the NCStar. Do a search on NCStar on here, and you'll find the only ones defending them are the ones selling them. :nest:

I got one of these for my dedicated .22 ar upper. It had a bad zero problem until i tightened up the quick release, i didn't notice how loose it was until my zero started moving regardless of my adjustments. Once i tightened it up to the point where it would just barely mount on the rail in the open position it grabbed real tight when clamped down it straightened out and is a pretty decent cheap scope. I haven't taken it off and put it back on my rail yet so i cant say if it will go back if its removed, but i doubt it. I also believe that any more recoil than .22lr would tear this thing a new a-hole.
