Hi guys
Did anyone try NcStar Vism Keymod Handguard on his Norinco CQ-A ???
Is it a clean fit witout any modification??

I bought one off Colonel Mustard at the Thorncliffe gun show in Calgary last weekend. I usually avoid ncstar stuff but I figured this drop in rail looked pretty cool and it probably wouldn't wiggle anymore than a standard carbine hand guard.

What I found was that the rail fit really snuggly and locked up solid once installed. I was quite surprised really. My gun isn't a norc, but it is a Franken build using mil spec parts. No modification was needed. Direct fit but very snug.

Pretty affordable option.

Bought mine from Marsters with the Norc 14.5".

Took some muscle and a hard surface to place the butt stock on, but it is a nice fit. Flush with the upper rail roo.

It is a triangle one.right???
I got a short one 6.5" long.lets see it fits or not.

Thank you guys for your input. I installed mine today and it is perfect and solid fit. But there is little left and right wiggle in delta ring only.is this normal???

With most drop in hand guards there is a little movement left and right. The triangular Keymod drop in hand guard pictured earlier in the thread is more solid though. As solid as any of my free float rails. Won't move.
