NEA 7.62x39 AR platform

A lot of the vitriol seems to come from NEAs early production models. They had a batch of junky BCGs and other problems. To their credit, NEA and SFRC bent over backwards to make things right.

Most reviews of the newer models are positive. FWIW one of my friends won a 14.5" 7.62x39 NEA at the TacMatch finale in August. He's put several hundred rounds through it and has been very pleased.

I have a 7.5" NEA in 7.62. I got recently just got it, so I haven't put too many rounds through it. So far it's been great. Love it. Glad I got it.

It did feel like a gamble buying it. I did a lot of online searching to see if it would be reliable etc., but there is basically nothing. I saw one video from a reputable guy (name's Ryan - from funker tactical videos) on You tube and that made me feel better. But besides that: nothing. He had the 14.5" and explained how they modified the bolt and feedramps for the larger round

Anyone out there with one, please review it and share.
I have a success story thread here on cgn.

More pioneering.

Even NEA should have videos showing the quality of their product. Results of testing.

I'm happy with mine since it's been running great so far. A 7.5" barrelled AR in 7.62x39 seemed like the best idea anyone ever, in the history of mankind, has ever come up with. - that's why I took the gamble.
