At least it wasn't the lugs like they are known for....this one appears to have the firing pin channel drilled too deep so there was no meat in the bolt face. 3rd round fired in a new Bushmaster 20" upper. Bought the bolt and carrier from you a couple months ago for this new build.

NEA ####tards need to smarten up.

Somewhere, there is a Nationwide face palm happening. :)

But. As always, Ryan will do what he can to correct the situation.

He sells alot of their product, it sux that they send him items like these. Boo for NEA. Thumbs up for SFRC.

Huh, that's not good. However, that looks like a whole lot of brass residue left on the bolt face, what cases were you using?

Nork factory ammo, 55gr fmj. Yeah its crap ammo, but I got 300 rounds through my DPMS with zero issues.
I know better too, and I have another good bolt, I really only wanted the carrier.....but all the chatter about NEA correcting their mistakes made me give it a chance. Claiming the bolts are MPI and proofed is obviously bull####.

NEA is a joke, cant walk its talk. talked big, didn't execute properly. Instead of being humble and building a reputation for quality product they put out a AR15 on par with a Norc, great tear 1 ar.

I'll take a pic of the case when I get home...the middle of the primer blew out the same shape as the hole that let go in the bolt. Rest of the primer is intact. I don't even know what parts NEA actually manufacture. The bolt had a small E stamp, and I've seen that.before about 10 years or more ago.
Hopefully they didn't #### up the carrier and I get some use out of that at least.
The ARF handled it well though, bit of warm air in the face, smoke outta the mag but that's it.

When I was looking for reviews on their products, there was almost nothing that I could find, ans almost bought a complete lower, a BCG and a 300 BLK barrel for a built.

From the last comments I see in this post, it does not seem to surprise anyone. I guess the reputation for defective product is well established then!

How about their barrels, they are priced reasonably, but what about the quality?

Please email me your order number and we'll get it sorted out for you. Sorry about the issue.

I'm locking this for now because everyone knows how NEA threads go sometimes.

Ryan
