Did somone pay you to post these pics? C'mon, fess up! Oh, and lose the crappy cell phone pics for Christ's sake...they're not flattering at all. But I can see why you posted them though. With the poor lighting and fuzzy pictures, you can hardly see the discolouration in the finish and the tooling marks on the receivers...;)

Oh you. No, I just like the rifle I got for xmas aka my first AR15. As soon as it works properly I will be dressing it up. I personally quite like the way the gun looks I think NEA did a good job on designing it. Don't you have something better to do than hate on all NEA threads? Do you own one? Have you talked to one of the people who are out enjoying their rifle? Also why would they pay me to promote their gun? Who am I in the gun world? I bring no advantage to the table. I'm just someone who enjoys the look of their rifle. As soon the upper gets fixed I will also enjoy shooting it. And that discolouration is just my trusty rem oil... Picked up some high temp bearing grease today too but I'll save that for my working upper.

And dude don't dis my HTC its got a whole 5 megapixels :p

I'll put up better pictures tomorrow during the day rather than at 1 in the morning.

I think the OP is just a little excited (as I know I would be) and missed sarcasm...it is easy to miss the ;) when you've been staring at 14.5" of gorgeous AR for so long.

Hmm...My comments were tongue in cheek. Must have been lost on you so late last night. Since when have I "hated" on NEA threads? My comments have been quite balanced and fair. I'd like to own one of their rifles, in particular the upcomming PDW, however, as I commented before I'm going to wait for some time before doing so.

Oh, and congratulations on the new rifle purchase. I'm sure you'll have a trouble free ownership experience.

My apology then. I must have associated your name with someone who has been hating on the NEA threads. Names get blurred at 1 while holding a sweet rifle. Oh and you got your wish. I will be changing the pictures from my cell to a dslr in a couple hours here. I just need to change the raw footage to jpeg. I agree that PDW stock looks pretty sweet.
