NEA VZ58 lower rail sling mounting? BFG Universal Wire Loop?

I am looking to mount a sling on my VZ58 rifle and I want to mount the front sling point as close to my mag well as possible, basically at the mid point of the rifle.

I am thinking about using a BFG universal wire loop through the holes in the lower, has anyone here tried this? If so which length wire loop do I need to use?

Any feedback would be most appreciated.
