Neat Kickstarter idea

Not sure if anyone here follows Kickstarter or not, but I found a neat item there.

It is a cleaning case shaped like a STANAG magazine so it will fit neatly into a mag pouch.

I thought kickstarter wouldn't touch anything firearm related. Im guessing once a site owner catches wind of the cleaning kit, it will get pulled and refunds issued. I remember reading that kickstarter is owned manage and by dirty liberals.

He does ship to Canada, I emailed him about it. It's a extra 15 bucks though to whatever support level and you have to send him an email stating your shipping address.

Reach for a mag and end up trying to load a cleaning kit... (it won't fit but its a stupid shape)...

It might have CQB applications if you modify your AR with a squirtgun conversion to spray solvent out the barrel.

KevinB, the idea is not to put it in with your mags, the idea is to mount a single mag pouch elsewhere on your gear using MOLLE then storing the kit away from your mags.

And in the dark with potentially a buddy groping for mags...

A straight line shape would have fit mag pouches and been a lot better shape to give one a muscle memory idea not to load this thing...

But hey if it floats your boat.

After watching people load mags upside down and backwards as they were "stressed" the idea of a mag shapped anything smells like a bad idea.

Solution without a problem, and it looks flimsy. So it will sell like hotcakes. Not too late to market a water bottle shaped like a magazine.

What they really need to do is create a stock that has a compartment in it for a cleaning kit. Oh, wait...
