Neck size dies?

Is anyone using Hornady neck sizers?
I recently had the chance to purchase an entire set of Hornady neck sizer dies used but in like new conditiion.
There was 6 dies in the set 22,24,25,27,28 and 30 caliber but not cartridge specific.
My RCBS and Redding neck dies are cut for each specific cartridge case not just neck diameter.
Any downside to the Hornady style?

The Hornady design doesn't fully support the case which is why they are not cartridge specific and not a good design IMHO. I have no personal experience with Hornady dies except a lot of them came back and were exchanged for another brand when I worked a gun counter. my 2 cents

I have a few different Hornady neck sizers and have no problem with them.

Neck sizer dies - regardless of manufacturer - don't touch the case anywhere but at the neck.

The problem most people have with Hornady resizing dies is that they fail to tighten the decapping stem enough and end up pulling it out of the die. The newer Hornady dies have solved that problem by "texturing" the stem for a surer grip.
