Your FL dies will size the case body, and push the shoulder back (if adjusted), as well as resize the neck. If you adjust your die so there is a space between it and the shell holder, say place a nickel on the shell holder and turn the die into the press until it touches the nickel, you will get partial resizing of the neck and body, and the shoulder should not be touched. Now see if this will chamber in your rifle.

This approximates neck sizing, and is the best you can do without buying neck sizing dies.

I will add that some cartridges like the WSM's cannot be neck sized properly without requiring alot of bolt pressure to close the action if a neck sizer is not used. Depending on the geometry of the case it is possible to do a partial neck size with a FL die but not with all calibers usually the sharper shouldered low taper cartridges pose the biggest problems and should use the proper Neck sizer for a clean job.

I will try that out, since I will only trying this on a .308 and .243 whos shoulder are not very sharp I think this will work.

Partial resizing also allows you to reload for a number of rifles - just size to the tightest chamber. Otherwise, if you neck size, you have to segregate brass..
