neck turning tool

The Sinclair directly from Sinclair, or the K&M directly from them or from Bruno's shooters supply. I have the K&M and it is great.

Be prepared to get wacked really hard for shipping if you buy from Sinclair. They charged me an extra $15 handling fee for international orders, then shipped it the absolute most expensive way possible. They make nice stuff but on a small order you can easily double (or more) the price of the tool by the time you get it in hand.

Moral of the story, place a larger order or don't order at all!

Always specify USPS as shipping method, if they won't ship USPS then don't bother. Sinclair will ship USPS but you have to request it. Minimum parcel (box) shipping cost from the US is around $25USD so yes, make it worth your while or get together with a friend who wants stuff from there and split the ship cost.

I have a K&M that I have yet to use but they came highly recommeded.

If you get a neck turner out of the US, don't forget to order an expander die and all the mandrels you may think you will need as well as all the pilot's you may need in the future.

Definitely good stuff.

Also, consider the Forster outside neck turner.

That is what I use cause I also wanted a good case trimmer.

Can offer you products from Forster and Wilson.

They do a very nice job.

I use the Forester Hand neck turning tool, it's awesome and improved accuracy in every one of my rifles, I got extremely good results in 22-250 using a Stevens rifle. Purchased it at Russell Sports, had it shipped to the east coast for around 12 bucks, service 2nd to none from those guys. I believe it was 69.99 + you have to buy the pilots for whatever caliber you shoot. Obviously the 22 caliber will do 22-250, .223, etc.. as will the 30 caliber do the the .308 30-06 ect...

Its not a lot of money to try it. I only wish I had done it sooner.

If you use Lapua brass, not so much - it's fairly uniform to start. Other manufacturers, why not? You only do it once, the brass lasts a while, and you can then do away with your expander ball and use just the right-sized bushing in your die. This will in turn extend the life of your necks, a benefit that applies to Lapua/Norma brass as well.

Bought my K&M from precisionreloading.com ... and yes, take a good look at the products available and order a few more items (add some buddies as well) to reduce the shipping impact. Always be clear on USPS (not UPS) for shipping.

Always hated getting a new Sinclair catalog ... just a bunch more stuff I needed to buy!
