My shooting buddy has had the best results out of his with 168 VLD's & 160 HPBT Sierras. He played a bit with the 139 interbonds which are close to the accubonds and found the groups to not be as tight. I know we all get wrapped up in speed, but we sometimes have to forget that. I seen him take a 200 class NT mulie @ 844 yards with a 168 VLD @ 2850 FPS. Everyone wants to push em over 3000, but what for when you can do that! As for powder, he has had the best luck with IMR 4350 & H4350 & Win LR primers. Can't remember the charge though. 280 will almost duplicate 7mm Rem Mag loads with the lighter bullets. It's a great cartridge!
I'm just working up some test loads right now. I'm using imr 4831 at 58 gr, and at 60 gr. for bullets I'm trying 140gr tsx, 140 berger, 140 bt's, and 139gr interbonds. If we ever get a nice weekend I'll post what worked best.
i load up 63grns of reloader 22 with a noz 140 ab or partition. it gives me 3059 average from a 22 inch remignton. groups around the inch if i'm careful as the barrel on my mountain rifle heats up quickly.
