Need 5.45x39, where to get it?

Not necessarily 12.X, could be an SSG82 or custom firearm of some sort.

Put a WTB ad in the EE and you will find some. Someone always has a case of it kicking around. I seem to find empties of that at the range every now and then.

Nope. Case is smaller diameter. I think? I haven't handled one in so long.

By co-incidence, I just picked up the latest Guns&Ammo, and there is an article about S&W's new 5.45x39 AR variant. With the shortage and/or price increase of .223/5.56, and the tonnes of East Bloc surplus available cheap in the States, there is a viable market for a 5.45 AR. Pity we can't get it, or cheap ammo for it here.
