Need 7/128 inch drill bit

Who in Canada sells a 7/128 inch high speed drill bit

7/128=.0546
#54 drill=.055
Try tool suplly place.

0.55 is what I need. I've tried every local hardware store, closest I got was 3/64 in a dremel bit.

You will need a machine tool supply house to get number drill sizes. Busy Bee Tools usually has sets on reasonably. With these inexpensive sets hole diameters are "nominal" start a few thou below what you want to get and work up (say,start with a #56 and check for fit then drill to 55 etc.)

SNAPON sells a high grade numbers set. thats where mine came from. im sure you can buy a single aswell.

You could also check out your local CTC store. I picked up a set of drill bits from 1/16 to 1/2 inch in 1/16ths, I beleive, as well as all the numbered and lettered bits in one case. I got it on special at 50 or 60 %off. I think I paid in the neighbourhood of $40-50. They are also titanium nitride coated. They may not last as long as a porfessional set, but for the hobby gunsmith, I think they should last a long time.
