Does anyone have a 270wsm load for a 24" barrel on a Remington 700. I'm hoping to use something around a 140gr match projectile. If anyone had any ideas I'd appreciate it. Thanks

Coincidentally I have been working up that exact load.
Tikka t3 270 WSM

140 gr Berger vld
Hornady brass
cci magnum large rifle primers

H4831sc

So, for my rifle I have the coal at .010 off the lands. This will be something that you determine as a best fit for your rig. Fit for your rifle will be different.

Walt Berger gives the powder load from 58.5 grains to 65 max for h4831sc

I have narrowed by best load to be somewhere between 62-63 grains. It looks promising at 62.7 grains. 3100 fps.

This is a best fit for my rifle. What works in yours will depend.

Good luck friend.

I also have a stellar load for a 140 accubond using RL 19. Let me dig that out and get back to you. I prefer it over the vld load.
I just can't ever seem to get the accubonds. and the VLD's are always plentiful.

So, my excel data indicates that 63 gr of RL 19 is the sweet spot.

But, as anyone will tell you:
the best load for your rifle is the load that you work up for your rifle.
