Years ago my Father took my Grandfathers shotgun in to be rebuilt. It came back in pieces & was never reassembled...

Years later I've dug it all out & want to get it back in working condition, but when the original gunsmith took it apart he never sent the barrel back with it!

It is a Beretta Golden Pigeon, 12gauge pump. Not an O/U

I've been all over the internet trying to find a barrel, or even used gun to poach one from, but no joy. Anybody have an idea where I could get one?

Thanks

So not only did the place you brought your shotgun into totally butcher the gun and plans of having it rebuilt, but they also stole the barrel?

Hopefully you dad didn't pay any sort of bill they sent.

Yup thats the long & short of it.

It was right around when the registry came into effect & the guy quit working on guns in protest. You'd think he could have at least reassembled it first though before giving it back!

Its a piss off because it worked just fine, it was only missing the wood on the pump action & the stock could have used a refinishing. Now I'm not even sure if I have all the parts...

Thanks for the PM, hopefully it pans out!

Wow those barrels are worth more than a new shotgun!

I think I found a used Silver Pigeon for $140. I'm gonna call about it today. I'll just poach the parts I need from that.
