need a better scope

the leapers bug stomper sight keeps coming loose on my sks. I was thinking about getting one of those assault rifle looking scopes, like a single glass view, i dont know what they're called. Any good?

I originally wanted something low power that i could see through easily and see a hundred yards or so which I have a harder and harder time without glasses. maybe a decent 4x sope would do what I need?
 
I am running a vortex diamondback 4-12 w/o AO on a choate mount and weaver medium leverlok rings.

well, it doesn't take much money to upgrade from a leapers- THAT ought to tell you something- for 100 yards almost any quality scope will do
 
What do you mean by a single glass view assault rifle scope? Like a red dot? How do you have the scope mounted to the rifle? Most decent brand name scopes will be a big improvement either way.
