So here is the problem I have I built a nice ar-15 with alot of goodies and trimmings on it and I chose the Aimpoint PRO as the crown for my build , as I got looking around I figured a nice little thing to have would be a 3x magnifier for it , until I saw the price (700.00) which is a fair bit more than I paid for the PRO itself.

So being the cheap bugger that I am I ordered one from China figuring that it's just a 3x magnifier and they only cost 60 bucks so when the heck.

It arrives and looks fine , the problem being is that on mounting it the twist mount is about a half an inch too low which makes it almost useless so what would be the best mount ( not picky about it being a twist or a flip)

Cheers, Green

Couple different options if you want to keep that twist mount.

The magnifier should actually still work like you have it, we've tested a number of different magnifiers at different heights and had no issues.

Another option is remove the spacer on the PRO. There are 4 shorter screws that come with the PRO for this.

Another option is purchasing the Twist mount riser/spacer. This fits inside the ring itself and the raises the magnifier up. Don't know if the Aimpoint one would work with the knock off though.
