Need a holster for Webley question

What kind of holsters are you guys using for your Webleys and where do you get them? I was thinking of a shoulder holster. How do you know if it will fit a particular holster? Im new to pistols and holsters.
Thanks for any help.

whats your barrel size? is it a Green,target WG or? webley mk?

if you want a cheap one. . . bring it to wholesale sports in a LOCKED hard case. (first see guys at guns to tell them what you need. and ask them if you can bring it in to test fit.)
 
Hi. Like starpuss says, the model you have will make a difference. A Webley Mk VI is a lot bigger than a Webley Mk IV. .445 vs .38 S&W.
Shoulder holsters are neat, but you can't use 'em in any of the shooting games. They weren't issued by the CF or any other Commonwealth military.
Don't think there are any specifically made for Webley's, but an Uncle Mike's Number 3 ballistic nylon might fit a Mk VI. A Number 2 for a Mk IV. Uncle Mike's ballistic nylon holster are good kit at really good prices.
 
I have Custom Webley MKI and MKII 455 / 45 acp Holsters comeing in a month or two.
There flap holsters with removeable shoulder straps that can go on a belt to, ;) and i have them in short 4 inch barrel and 6 inch lengths.
Theses are better made than anything on the net and are copys of orignal pre 1898 holster designes.

Thick leather with all copper and brass rivets and rings.

They will be available in short 4 inch or 6 inch like in the below pictures.
Only getting in a dozen or two so if anyone wants one PM me and get on the List.
They can be dark brown like the orignal one or lighter coloured like the 6 inch sample.
$85 + shipping.

Very well made and the ones comeing will have longer shoulder straps and they will be removable.
Theses are copys of Orignal antique British holster not available anywhere else in Canada.

The 6 inch ones like the below one will hold a MKVI 455 Webley revolver and WGs.

I like the Uncle Mike's Bandolier holster, size 3 fits any MK Webleys with the longer 6" barrels. Depends on what you're doing, I guess.

Also, google the Pacific Canvas and Leather Co., they have some very nice-looking leather holsters much like the ones in Dingus's pictures.

Funny about ebay, I looked there a couple months ago for a webley holster and only ratty-looking canvas ones were available...right now there's a bonanza!

yes theses are very heavy duty thick leather. theres lots on ebay but most almost always there for 6 inch barreled guns.
The 4 inch ones are hard to find thats why im getting theses custom made for the MKIs and MKIIs.
Its gona be about 3 month before there in but i think theres a demand going by the number of PMs im getting.

nice lanyard but having a piece of string all tangled up in your hammer was generally considered not worth it. Use it for your mittens LOL>
 
E-Bay is evil. They give money to the people who don't think you should be allowed to own any firearm.
"...get this done up..." That'd cost a fortune. More if it comes with the blond.

Came with the gun... it came off first time I took it to the range. I could see the point if the gun was hanging around your neck on the lanyard.

And yup, I'm watching for Dingus's they're here post too.
