I bought an old cooey single shot for my daughter. I cut the stock, painted it pink put it back together and now I am thinking that the barrel doesn't look right. It has about 60% of the blueing left. I was thinking for about maybe painting the barrel white. Any hints? Will it stay white? is there one paint that is better than the rest?
Thanks
J

I would go with tremclad or rustoleum (theyre the same thing) sand it down good with 220 grit and clean it really well, prime then 2 or 3 thin coats will do it. For extra protection some clearcoat will keep it looking new for years to come. Stick with the same brand and type with primer paint and clear for best results. Might be worth it to do the action as well? It'll look great hanging on the gun rack on her barbie power wheels :D
