Need A Little Info

I am loading 357 Mag,296 Winchester powder and 125 gr JHP,My manual calls for 19.0 gr of powder but for some reason it's worked it's way up to 19.6!Is it safe for me to shoot this load?I have the powder weight back to 19.0 but there is a few with 19.6.Thanks jwk

whats your manual say for max load? if you have gone over max NO do NOT shoot them

if your new to reloading and your near max load i would also NOT shoot them

pull the bullets dump the powder start again..live and learn we all screw up atleats you caught it before somthing happened

I have loaded:
W-296 From 16.9 grains to 21.2 grains
CCI-550 Primer
without any problems...but that was in a Ruger Blackhawk.

Tryed out the 357 load

The 19.6 load worked just fine ,WHAT A FLAME!!Thanks guys

296 and 110 are powders that require a stiff load to prevent pressure problems. They are tricky

Here is some theory for those who like it.

With a 6 inch bbl, 16 gn generates 15,000 psi and 1200 fps
With a 6 inch bbl, 16.9 gn generates 17,000 psi and 1250 fps
With a 6 inch bbl, 21.2 gn generates 38,000 psi and 1700 fps

The max PSI is 43,000. So the last load is cutting it a bit close
