Need a load for Tikka 300Win Mag.

Hello fellow shooters, just got the new toy heavy barrel Tikka 300Win Mag, and i need a good load for it, gun is to be used for long range target shooting, thanks, Traper.

case full of H1000 and a 190 grain MatchKing would be a good place to start me thinks

I load 55gr of IMR4350 with a 110gr SP. Group inside a looney at 100yds. and very little recoil.
This load is a bit stronger than a 308Winchester but below a 30-06, and quite a bit lower than a full 300WM load. I can't shoot more than 20 rounds of full load magnums before my shoulder feels like it got kicked by a mule.

I really like the 178Amax with lots of(75grs) reloader22 pushing it with 215M Primers in Winchester brass

FYI, the classic Wimbledon Cup load was something like 68.5 or 69 grains IMR4350 pushing a 190 Sierra.

The current sniper load used by the U.S. military has a 190 Sierra pushed by Reloder 22 (probably around 75 grains).

I'd also expect that Jamie's load is hard to beat.

I have found that reloder 22 is the best powder for the 300 win mag.
