Allright! who's the guy who needed a Mas-36 action lately?.
I have a (bubbaed) one complete with shortened and 308 Winchester rechambered barrel.
It shoots well but too high (needs a longer front blade).
It does feed the first round from the top right allright but the second round's nose always hangs-up.
It has a modification that acts as a safety.
I wanted to do something with it but haven't got the time and my money will be redirected towards buying a really nice little Walther 222.
So, if that guy needs the poor thing, let's say it won't be expensive...
Just PM me.

So little time...

Dis PP, tu devais pas te monter un clone de FR-F1 avec ça?

Yes, but I stumbled on a very nice Walther benchrest in 222 Remington... and, besides, I just don't have a good machinist at hand anymore to fit a good heavy barrel on that MAS.
Having received all the data I needed for my "Ersatz", I saw that there is a whole lot of difference between a regular MAS action and an FR-F1 one.
And, for example, just machining the bipod and connecting pieces would be ruinous.:(

Another reason, things have taken a busy turn these last weeks and I won't have much time left to tinker for a while so I thought I could help the guy and get rid of another "time and money sinkhole" by the same token.

Next time maybe... I still have a very nice late Ross 1910 action with a bobbed barrel.
Would be interesting to have Bevan King fit a precision tube on it and have a stock made, taking the measurements from the stocks I already have.:D
