I recently purchased a Stevens 350 short barrelled shotgun and had the chance to test it out at the range. This was my first time firing a short barrelled shotgun, and man oh man the recoil was tough on my frame. I want to replace the stock hard rubber recoil pad with something that really soaks up the recoil. Has anyone out there done this with a Stevens? Not sure if 870 type buttstocks or pads will work with this.

I'm sure there is a Limbsaver or Decelerator pad that will fit it. If they don't have a custom pad you can get a grind to fit or the slip on model. I suggest you trace the butt of your stock on a piece of paper and take the sheet down to the gunshop to see if anything matches up... EDIT: Or just remove the factory pad and take that with you to the shop...

I will try tracing it out first, then measuring the length and width. If this fails, then taking the rubber pad off the buttstock will have to do.
