Need a scope recommendation

I currently have a very nice set of expensive 30mm rings. What I am looking for is a realitively light ~2-10X scope with a 30mm tube. Price isn't too much of a concern so any suggestions from cheapy to expensive are fine. The scope will be used on my primary hunting/target rifle.

For that power range, you would likely be better off getting new 1" rings and a 1" scope.

If budget isn't a concern buy a Swaro Z6 1.7-10*42mm. Wide field of view on 1.7, quality glass and all around superb scope.

Leupold VX-III

You get what you pay for and you pay for what you get… especially with optics. In addition to great glass, Leupold will be warranted well past your lifetime; hard to beat that deal.

Noting recent ads in ACCESS from Korth, the Leopold warrantee company in Canada, I have some serious concerns about their "lifetime" warrantee....how do you spell Zeiss......
