A Winchester 94 carbine (circa 1959) I acquired earlier this year was giving me pathetic groups at 100 yards. I installed a Lyman receiver sight and was a little disturbed to notice that, in order to put the bullets on target at 100 yards, I had to crank the peep almost to the max to the right, putting it almost 1/8" off center of bolt/barrel. Turns out I have a slightly bent barrel that throws the bullets 14" to the left at 100 yards. Rather than mess around trying to make a bent barrel into a tack driver, I'm wondering if anyone has an extra 94 barrel laying around that would fit on a 1959 Model 94. The caliber is 30-30, but I'd also be happy with a 38-55 carbine barrel, provided the bore is in excellent shape. I'd rather not have a 35 cal barrel, since I don't have the dies, brass, or bullets for that caliber.
