I'm accustomed to using Elcan C79's (various iterations) at work (infantry). I'm looking for a similar scope with much less weight to it for my personal rifle (ordering an xcr 7.62, 18" barrel).
Here's a bit of criteria:
-very rugged
-3, 3.5 or 4x magnification
-battle sight on the top for CQB
-7.62 calibrated
-no batteries
-no more than $400
This is my first rifle and I'm not familiar with all the different brands. I've been looking around various manufacturers for hours and I can't seem to find something suitable. I'm hoping to get some guidance.
