A month ago, I added a 2007 Chevy Avalanche LTZ to the family "fleet" - so I could have something to carry my James McGowan Custom MAK-1 Rescue Tool ;)

I want to add some high-powered Lightforce driving lights to the snout, but even the Lightforce Tech Support guys couldn't figure out where to mount them! The front is really one giant plastic pudding cup!

Can anyone recommend a trustworthy, knowledgeable off-road specialist shop in Toronto where I could take the Avalanche and have someone come up with some suggestions (other than a light bar across the roof).

TIA.

Check for an after market bumper light bar. one of our customers has one that fits flush along the front of the bumper and he has lights mounted. i'll try and find the manufacture might even be gm.

Like the one poster said, you'll have to get a pre-runner or a light bar on the front end. I've taken off bumper covers and made brackets from the bumper mounting points too.

nothing wrong with an avalanche, basically a 4x4 chevrolet silverado with coil overs in the rear aswell, Ive seen a few pictures and trucks in person with offroad lights mounted behind the grille to the rad support, the grille itself is so close to the lights that the mesh doesnt seem to effect the beam of light, Ill see if I can find any pictures. Also for the avalache go get some CCM coil spacers off ebay to level the front end out and get some 33 inch mud terrains or all terrains.

Might want to check this site www.chevyavalanchefanclub.com good info on the forums there. If you want to spend the money Road Armour makes real replacement bumpers gonna run you around $2k though.

I had an Avalanche and loved the truck unfortunately mine was a real lemon and had some crazy issues with coolant leaks and electrical problems...hope you have better luck with yours.
