Need advice on rings.

what is your objective size? and what rail..........from what I know I am willing to bet anything in a low ring, leupold PRW rings are good and rock solid as well
 
low rings are going to get you down as close as you can get the objective lens with a one piece base, if you can get extra low they might work and get you lower. Cheek weld becomes a issue when your scope is that high off of the receiver, 30mm tubes and big objectives don't help this
 
Depends on thickness of your rail aswell. Max I would want the the bottom of the scope bell above the barrel is 10mm. 5-7mm is best.
